Existing lack of footway along Walton Cardiff Lane between Ashchurch Road and Walton Cardiff. A footway could be provided along part of the highway utilising some of the Town Council owned Derek Graham Memorial Play Area site.

There is currently a gap in the shared footway/cycleway along Ashchurch Road alongside Knights Way. The verge in this location is owned or managed by local authorities and there should be sufficient space for a footway and cycleway to be pr ... [more]

Although the footway along Church Street is relatively wide as the town becomes busier more space is required. Some road space utilised for inappropriate on-street parking on the north western side of the carriageway could be reallocated fo ... [more]

There is no footway along this stretch of Stoke Road (C86). Stoke Road is an unlit rural road operating with the National Speed Limit. Although available space in the highway boundary is limited consideration could be given to providing a f ... [more]

Narrow pavement on eastern side of Gloucester Road. Change would require reallocation of road space for use by pedestrians or cyclists unless land was taken outside the available highway boundary.

This junction is not safe for children to access the playgroup, skatepark, BMX track & open space, NCN 45 cycle network. Needs controlled crossing or highway measures to slow vehicles approaching this junction down on the approach to the m ... [more]

We currently have barriers which prevent trailer bikes from accessing the nearby new Churchdown Surgery and the south of Churchdown, there is plenty of space to open up, this is on the NCN 45 route. We are cutting off two parts of Churchdo ... [more]

The continuation of this quiet residential route to join with the cycleway through Barnwood Business Park & connecting with Longlevens would be ideal for young people accessing senior schools in Churchdown and employees accessing the main e ... [more]

Ash Path is not properly surfaced or lit at nights, yet it is the key route for young people accessing senior schools in Churchdown from Innsworth & Longlevens. This route is rutted and muddy for much of the year.

Needs cycleway for young cyclists using the pavements currently on Pirton Lane to access the 7 schools under a 2 mile radius.

This bridge is dangerous with narrow cycle lanes painted on the road and a narrow footpath all in a terrible state of maintenance. There is plenty of space to engineer acceptable solutions

Widen footway between Cheltenham and Uckington Village Centre, to enable cyclists to access Elmstone Hardwick and Stoke Orchard using quiet country lanes

Inconsiderate road users. Cycle priority needed.

Too much traffic with no consideration for cycles. Cycle priority needed.

Too many parked cars and too much through traffic for safe cycling. One way traffic system with parking on one side of the road only would make for better cycling and reduced emissions.

Pavement on one side disappears meaning pedestrians need to share one pavement and have to step into the road to avoid each other. Continue the pavement so there are pavements both sides.

Make 30mph. Popular lane with cyclists but 50mph means fast cars putting a lot of potential cyclists off.

A clear cycle path needs to be created the present one is very dangerous and intermittent

The cycle path stops and this part of the road gets very busy

Reduce speed limit to 30 mph. There is no pavement, and this road it used a lot by cyclists and pedestrians. Doubt there is room for proper cycling infrastructure but something needs to be done to control traffic urgently before a tragedy o ... [more]

It is in need of urgent repairs and to be widened

Cycling between Cheltenham & Gloucester is along here and traffic very busy in rush hours. A dedicated shared cycle/pedestrian way could easily be incorporated in wide verges and on bends.

No pavement here and yet a popular route for walkers & cyclists.... especially if you want to commute to Gloucester via Route 41 which goes around airport. Pathways should be improved as winter months there is no lighting and traffic too f ... [more]

Often overgrown and used by cyclists as road too dangerous.... this whole road from island with A417 to Brizen fields needs rethinking as more of a shared cycle and pedestrian pathway. New housing estates are increasing traffic flow which i ... [more]

Often overgrown and used by cyclists as road is too dangerous.

Very narrow footpath with no alternative on the other side of the carriageway.

Fully segrated and protected cycle path in both directions needed on Up Hatherley Way. Ridiculous recent scheme which removed grass to widen only a small section of pavement and paint cycles on the road is a joke.

Safer cycling on the A46 Brockworth to Cheltenham needed

A cycle route between b/c and Cheltenham is badly needed to avoid the treacherous evesham road.

The entire Shurdington Road is a well used route for cyclists, and road markings should be added to indicate it as a cycle route; along with dedicated cycle paths along sections where possible.

Slippery Slope and loose gravel which is not very good to use a Bicycle upon. Tarmacadam needed at the Thomas Telford Bridge.

A Silly Scaffolding Barrier Obstruction to hinder Bicycle use. Sustrans National Cycle Network NCN 42.

Rough road and grit on very narrow path. Newent Road, Highnam.

Another Awful 'A' Frame by the gate which can be Locked.

After the barrier followed by a rough and steep BMX track. It is supposed to be for Bicycles but is really dire.

Too steep and as rough as hell. The surface is an utter mess with dust and gravel. The gravel is loose, sharp and large. The Bicycle had to be walked.

An Awful 'A' Frame on National Cycle Network (NCN 41). Abysmal 'A' Frame which is so bad there is reflector stickers on it which suggests that at night it is a nightmare obstruction and danger!

Coronavirus Covid-19 Warning on the Gate and the Awful 'A' Frame. This is in Churchdown.

The National Cycle Network (NCN) 41 is signed on different ways in Churchdown. Here is another Barrier to hinder people on Bicycles.

Shared Use Two Way Bicycle Path (from Gloucester to Cheltenham) becomes a One Way Cycle Lane near the junction. A Bicycle user (from Cheltenham to Gloucester) has to either cross two lanes of traffic or go the wrong way on the Cycle Lane.

The Worst Dangerous Obstruction a Bicycle Path in Gloucestershire. The Shared Use Bicycle Path does not have the legal recommended width of over 150cm width for a Single Lane Bicycle Path. This Bicycle Path is two way even so, with this B ... [more]

Shared Use Bicycle Path with a Slow for a side street. The design is poor as the traffic on the side street should be traffic calmed and slow for the Bicycle.

Old bikes are among the amazing collection of bric a brac at the National Trust's Snowshill Manor. Shame there are no cycle stands in the car park then.
